Lumina Verde
During daylight hours, the pavilion’s drawbridge like doors open to create bamboo supported docks over the water, inviting passersby to enter and explore its creative workshops. The first workshop focuses on eco-conscious painting using plants, vegetation, fruits, and vegetables collected from the park or brought from home. Inside the pavilion, a specially designed extraction station allows visitors to transform natural materials into sustainable paint pigments. The second workshop encourages participants to recycle discarded glass bottles by turning them into colorful glass mosaics. A secure crushing box enables users to safely break down the glass, while recycling bins outside the pavilion support the collection of materials and encourage visitors to contribute to the park’s cleanliness and sustainability efforts. Due to the nature of the materials, this workshop is restricted to adults over eighteen. Constructed from bamboo, wood, rope, and recycled glass, the pavilion becomes a glowing landmark at night, illuminated by interior lighting powered through energy stored by integrated photovoltaic panels. The design promotes creativity, community interaction, environmental awareness, and responsible material reuse.
